Dear Star of Hope Volunteer,
One of the things we learned from our LORD is serving others with a sincere heart. We are always tempted to work just as hard as we have to, thinking we only have to please man. But God wants us to see that ultimately, we work for Him. Therefore, we should do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. God promises to reward those who work with that kind of heart.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23&24
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. It gives us an opportunity to say thank you to the volunteers that serve amongst our residents and staff. In 2024, more than 2,501 volunteers used their gifts to provide 58,861 hours. We couldn't do it without you! Because of you, lives are being impacted and changed in a positive way.
