National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, and more caring places to live and work. Together, we are making this happen.
Star of Hope's Cornerstone Community, in conjunction with Buckner International and New Hope Housing, is hosting a block party with games, activities, food, and visits from emergency personnel. This is a night for our Cornerstone Community to stand together and promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity.
Opportunity Details:
- Date - Tuesday, October 4th
- Location - Star of Hope's Cornerstone Community - 2605 Reed Rd Houston, TX 77051
- Duties - Help set up tables and booths, serve food and beverages, help with event booths, games, and activities
- Event Shifts
- Set-up & Event Volunteer - 4:00 - 7:00 pm
- Event & Clean-up Volunteer - 5:30 - 7:30 pm
- Volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift
- Attire - Volunteers are asked to wear a pink shirt
