Baggage Room Organization & Support - 1:30PM - 2:45PM

Help create a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for our residents by serving in the Baggage Room. Volunteers play an important role in organizing and storing residents' personal belongings, retrieving items when residents leave the center, and maintaining an orderly storage area.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

·        Organize, label, and store residents' personal property.

·        Retrieve and return belongings to residents upon departure.

·        Keep the baggage room clean, organized, and free of clutter.

·        Assist with identifying and discarding property that has been left in the center for more than 10 days, following Star of Hope procedures.

·        Maintain accurate organization and pay close attention to detail when handling residents' belongings.

Physical Requirements:

·        Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

·        Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.

·        Ability to bend, reach, and move storage items safely.

·        Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
