Prepare Hope Bags that meet immediate, daily needs of the men, women and children. Together giving hope and ending homelessness one life, one family at a time.
Major Responsibilities:
Choose one or two of the three Hope Bags to assemble or assemble all three! Each of the following items can be placed in a gallon-size Ziploc bag.
Hygiene Bag
- Bottle of Water (8 oz. or 16 oz.)
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Razor
- Small Shampoo (can be shampoo/conditioner in one)
- Small Conditioner
- Small Thin Bar Soap (Hotel Size)
- Deodorant (roll on preferred)—will not melt in extreme heat
- Hand Wipes
- Small Tissue Pack
- Adult black or white socks
- Small Lotion
- Kleenex
- Bandages
- Lip Balm
- Hand Towels
- Sunscreen
- Dental Floss or Floss Picks
Snack Bag
- Granola bars (variety)
- Cheese crackers or Chips (small bags)
- Small bag of Pretzels
- Raisins
- Cookies (small packs)
- 1 Can of Vienna Sausage or Potted Meat or Tuna packet
- Juice box or Juice Bag (ex. Capri Sun or other individual size juice)
Feminine Hygiene Bag
- Feminine hygiene products
- Summer's Eve Refreshing Feminine Wipes
- Sanitary Pads or Period Panties
- Feminine Deodorant Spray
- Summer's Eve Extra Cleansing Vinegar & Water Douche
- Fingernail Clipper, Nail File Boards
Important Note:
We ask that all the bags be consistent in contents. Colors of toothbrushes can vary, but we ask that the bags have the same items so as not to make anyone feel left out if they do not get a certain item.
