Description

Sack lunches are an everyday need for residents who are out job searching, at social service appointments or just arrived at our shelter. Sack lunches consist of a sandwich (condiments on the side) & a few sides such as chips, snack bars, fruit, dessert.  We also ask that you provide water bottles to be distributed with the lunch. This is an offsite project. Please read drop off instructions below. 

 

List of items for sandwiches

  • Wheat or White sliced bread

  • American Cheese slices

  • Deli turkey meat or ham

  • Sandwich zip lock bags

  • Brown paper bags

  • Mayonnaise and Mustard packs (1/1)

Snack options - All snacks must be individually packaged

  • Chips
  • Cookies
  • Mini pretzels
  • Goldfish crackers
  • Cheese crackers
  • Fruit snacks

Number of Sack Lunches Needed

  • 200

Sack-Lunch Drop-Off Location:  Sack lunches can be dropped-off at this Star of Hope location: 

Women & Family Development Center at Star of Hope’s - Cornerstone Community® - 2575 Reed Rd., Houston, TX 77051  – (Please see the attached a map of this campus & go to the "Building E" or "Building A" near the front of Cornerstone.  There should be signs & arrows for the donation drop-offs.)

Monday-Friday:  8am – 6pm & Saturday/Sunday:  8am – 12pm
