Star of Hope has been invited to participate as official charity for the Chevron Houston Marathon & Aramco Half Marathon in January again this year! We have a great volunteer opportunity available for an unlimited number of volunteers of any age! Our “Hoopla Cheering Station” is an area on the route where we set-up canopies with live DJ for music and lots of cheering to encourage all of our Star of Hope runners and other race participants. The Marathon is early in the morning of January 14, 2024. Volunteers will need to arrive around 7:00 AM before the roads close and will likely finish up around noon. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their enthusiasm, signs and noise makers!
